X-18 GDP, Punch pie, Blueberry Pie

First grow log so I’m going to try and be as consistent with this as I can. I’m growing 3 strains one of which is a reg line so fingers crossed on that. One is a feminized Punch Pie from RQS, one is Blueberry gushers x Georgia pie by Raw genetics, and the regs are X-18 x gdg. Living soil in all plants, 5 gallon mesh bags for the punch pie, blueberry gushers, and one of the x-18 and one 3 gallon mesh bag fr the backup x-18 (I have more seeds if they are both male. The aim was for 3 plants, two fems in 5’s and one 3 gal. But life happened and I had to work with what I had (thanks Amazon). Today is day one for the seedling of the blue, and on week 3 for the punch pie and the two x-18’s. All will be on sip beds.IMG_0834.webpIMG_0836.webpIMG_0802.webpIMG_0809.webpIMG_0805.webpIMG_0851.webp

Today the blueberry pie by raw genetics sprouted and is ready to roll! The girls are doing great, the sip bed is a mix of perlite and lava rock in a 3 inch planter with about 2 inches or so above the rim to allow capillary action to take place. The blueberry will be ready for a bed of her own in a few weeks but it’s wise to wait u til roots have been established well enough to use the water your providing, other wise you will have waterlogged soil. No bueno.

-Water ph at 6.7 for the more mature plants and 5.7 for the seedling.
- living soil by @therealbigwormorganics.
- X-18 regs by equilibrium.
- punch pie Fems by Royal Queen Seeds/ Tyson 2.0.
- Blueberry pie/Georgia pie x Blueberry gushers Fems by Raw Genetics. (going in my second tent when i flip these 3)

-Still no signs of sex on the two X-18’s but I remain hopeful! One is growing way different than the other, one is short and compact and one is spread out nicely between nodes.

Anyone have a trick or tip on identifying early on they use regularly?

-First round of topping at the 5th node as soon as she sat up this morning, no point in veg’n a shoot that won’t stay. I add a drop of clean water to the cut as soon as I make it to prevent oxygen from being the first thing to enter the stalk. I’ve noticed a difference in doing that with both my cuts on the plant early on as well as when I cut clones, I take the clipping and submerge the cut end in water and recut it a few mm up and I’ve had almost 100% success with my clones doing that! Maybe there’s something to that, maybe not idk but it seems to work lol.

-The blueberry pie seedling wasn’t quite ready to come out of the shell this morning so hopefully the humidity will help soften it enough to release. I’m most excited for this strain and the x-18 gdp as they were the beans I was gifted by family.

-slowly adding more material to the sip tray each day to see if it balances out the evaporation.

I hope everyone had a great turkey day! My plants had their own thanksgiving day and gave me new tops lol! Today’s growth looks unremarkable really, nothing new to report just normal growth after topping. Soil is staying perfectly moist with the sip beds, still learning the watering schedule for them but it helps with not overwatering because they aren’t forced to drink (drown) they use capillary action so it drinks as it needs it, huge thanks to my cousin bigwormorganics for the support in setting everything up! This grow is my bounce back grow, I just had multiple surgeries and had major complications and they wanted me on tons of pain meds… we say no…we say green!!!
