I have heard that autoflowers will start to trigger their flowering cycle once the tap root hits the bottom of the pot/growing medium.
1. Is there any truth to that?
2. If so, would one be able to start an autoflower in an easy plug pyramid that is resting on a large pot of super soil?
My thought is to prolong the veg, but to provide a starting medium that is nutrient free and then have it already linked to an enormous reserve of ready to rock nutrient loaded super soil. Trying to grow some monsters, and I know I've seen other growers with absolute jungles from the same autos I'm rocking, but with much more moderate results.
Any body got some knowledge/wisdom on this issue?
PLEASE, drop a pearl or two on us over here!
